Cartoons for adults

Excellent animations from the brush-and-ink of Phil Mulloy, going back to 1991. Mulloy specialises in violent, sexually explicit but very simple and artful animations. His has a lively imagination, and you've probably seen his work late at night on Channel 4.

Absurd skeleton men in top hats and with chattering peg teeth form the backbone of his Cowboy series, while in The History Of The World Mulloy puts forward the contentious theory that it was men with small knobs who invented writing as a way of attracting women. The penis mightier than the sword. Ho ho. One for the collection, not least for the childishly amusing post-pub sniggers of The Sexlife Of A Chair.
