Britney sued by songwriter

An Indiana songwriter is suing Britney Spears for copyright infringement, claiming he wrote the song Sometimes 15 years ago.

A lawyer for Steve Wallace has filed a complaint against the singer in the US federal court.

The complaint acknowledges that Wallace did not formally copyright his song until 2003.

Spears, 23, obtained a US copyright for Sometimes in 1999.
