Barrymore to make TV comeback

Michael Barrymore is set to make his comeback as a television gameshow host.

The troubled star has been approached to host Take It Or Leave It on Challenge TV - a copycat version of Channel 4's successful Deal Or No Deal.

Though a far cry from 53-year-old Barrymore's heyday on ITV1's primetime show Strike It Lucky, he is said to be thrilled by the offer.

The series will see couples compete for prizes of up to £100,000 by answering general knowledge questions.
