An age-old Fabric

One of the world's biggest clubs rolls out the red carpet this weekend for their fifth birthday shenanigans.

This club really does have it all - a fabulous set of soundsystems, discerning line-ups and thousands of likeminded clubbers who just can't get enough. There's also been a right mishmash of famous faces turning up over the years.

On one hand you've got the likes of Dr Dre and Bono rocking the gaff and on the other, random celebs like David Hasselhoff and Daley Thompson. Hilarious.

It all kicks off with a Thursday Fabric Live drum'n'bass special, starring all of the scene's big boys including Andy C and DJ Hype going back-to-back, Fabio, Krust, Goldie, Grooverider, Peshay and DJ Die, before moving onto Friday night with another Fabric Live sesh, with Death In Vegas and Breaksta playing live alongside a huge selection of breaks influenced spinners including the Plumps Stanton Warriors, Adam Freeland, Scratch Perverts, Aim, Joe Ransom, Talvin Singh and Ali B.

Then if you've still got the legs for it, Saturday rolls on to 10am with Fabric ressies Craig Richards and Terry Francis joined by the one and only Andrew Weatherall, Stacey Pullen, Colin Dale, Maurice Fulton, Darshan, Joakim and Rolando, plus live sets from Alter Ego, Freeform Five and Suburban Knight. Just what you'd expect from the Fabric crew.
