50 Cent tweets tsunami jokes then makes a UNICEF donation

50 Cent has angered the world by posting jokes about the tsunami that recently hit Japan.

The Down On Me rapper posted the comments on his Twitter page before receiving negative feedback on his account.

50 tweeted: "It's all good, 'til bitches see their Christian Louboutins floating down da street." "Shit gone get crazy."

Referring to the tsunami, he wrote: "Wave will hit 8am them crazy white boys going to try to go surfing."

Some of the rappers fans on Twitter seemed to find his comments amusing whilst the majority of tweets he received were displaying anger at his remarks.

After American news agencies reported what 50 Cent had said, the rapper wrote: "Some of my tweets are ignorant. I do it for shock value. Hate it or love it. I'm cool either way. 50 Cent."

Shortly after his 'apology' the rapper announced that he will make a donation to UNICEF, after accepting money from the family of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi for a European performance in 2005.

50 Cent performed for the Gaddafi family at the Venice Film Festival, although he has not revealed the exact amount that he was paid for playing the private party.

So far, Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Usher have donated their performance fees to various charities.
