Christmas is just around the corner and this one promises to be one unlike any other.
With possible limits on how many people you can have over, you might fancy pulling out all the stops for those that are gathered around the table.
And while you may have the turkey on pre-order and your special baubles out of the attic, when it comes to a showstopping dessert you can trust M&S to deliver a sweet that will make you smile from ear-to-ear this Yuletide.
The high street favourite has taken its popular Colin the Caterpillar cake and given him a very merry makeover.
The chocolate log cake has been jazzed up for the most wonderful time of the year with gift-shaped chocolate on his back, confectionery stockings on his many pairs of feet and a jaunty chocolate Santa hat perched above his sweet face.
Festive Colin is one of many new Christmas items from M&S. The full festive range will launch on October 1 on its website and includes more vegan offerings and unusual party canapes like chip shop-style Battered Mini Sausages, Chicken Doughnut Dippers and Plant Kitchen Mini No Chicken Kievs with all the garlicky flavour and none of the meat.
Destined to go down a treat with children and adults alike, festive Colin will cost £10 and available in-store from December 19 - so mark your calendars.
