Thousands flee Greek refugee camp in Lesbos after fire breaks out

A major fire has broken out at a refugee camp in the Greek island of Lesbos forcing thousands to flee.

Volunteers at the Moria refugee camp have confirmed that around 4,000 people have been evacuated.

Organisation Lifeguard Hellas said the fire is under control after volunteers distributed water.

Some are reporting that it was caused by riots in the camps but police have not confirmed this.

Tent and shelters have been destoryed but there are no reports of any injuries.
