Lois Goodman, 70, was held in Los Angeles, where her husband Alan, 80, died at their home in April. She claimed at the time that she found him dead and assumed he’d had a heart attack and fallen downstairs, police said. It is now alleged that a broken mug was used to beat him around the head. Prosecutors want bail set at £630,000.
