This is the shocking moment a man in a cowboy hat stopped a suspected armed robber in his tracks after an alleged thief turned his back on him during a supermarket raid.
The robber came into a store called Carnes Cares in Monterry, Mexico, holding what appeared to be a gun at 11 pm local time (4pm BST) on April 23.
Security footage from the store showed a man in a cowboy hat wrestling the suspected thief across the shop after calmly removing his glasses.
During the scuffle, the suspected robber lost his weapon which was quickly picked up by a staff member.

As a struggle continued, the suspected robber attempted to run from the store but two male staff members and the "cowboy" were able to restrain him.
According to local news report, the suspect was then handed over to local police.
