News | WorldParis police station 'shut due to flea infestation'The station was shuf due to a flea infestationGetty ImagesAsher McShane6 May 2019A police station in Paris was evacuated to to an infestation of fleas, according to a police union.The station in the 19th arrondissement in north-east Paris was closed until further notice.The Alliance police union said on Twitter the station had "suffered a flea invasion, making working conditions intolerable" for days.Officers were bitten multiple times, according to radio station France Bleu Paris.Union official Emmanuel Cravello told the station: "Several colleagues consulted doctors after bites."The problem is that some officials have brought this back home and after that it’s the kids who are bitten.
