Nasa has released an incredible 360 degree experience that allows you to view Mars as though you’re stood on the Red Planet yourself.
The “video” is made up of shots captured by the space agency’s Curiosity rover, the car-sized robot vehicle that has been exploring Earth’s closest planetary neighbour since 2012.
In it, users can glimpse red rocks on the surface up close before manipulating the view to gaze at Martian mountains in the distance.
Nasa’s posted the video on its Curiosity Mars Rover Facebook page on Friday.

On Monday morning the post had been viewed nearly half a million times, with in excess of 12,000 shares.
One commenter wrote below the line: “Mars in my bedroom no way. If anyone told me I’d be looking at 360 degree -view of Mars on my phone 10 years ago, you just wouldn’t fathom the ease of it. This is pure awesomeness.”
