Moment woman 'knocks man unconscious with single punch after sexual assault'

This is the moment a man was reportedly knocked unconscious by a woman after pinching her bottom at a Moroccan market.

The woman is seen apparently punching the man in the back of the head after he allegedly grabbed her bottom.

The punch sent the alleged attacker flying face-first into a shop and over a pile of rugs in the Moroccan town of Inezgane.

The man laid stricken on the floor as his victim then turns round and angrily berates him for groping her - in case her actions hadn't spoken loudly enough.

The man’s injuries were reportedly so severe that he was knocked out cold, taking two hours for him to regain consciousness.

Local television station Alyaoum 24 suggested the man's injuries were mainly caused by his head striking the shop's floor, rather than the punch itself.

The incident follows a similar attack in a market in Inezgane in June, when two female hairdressers were subjected to taunts and harassment from street vendors.

Police called to deal with the incident arrested the pair, aged 19 and 23, for “violating public decency”.

The case sparked national outcry, with thousands of people signing a successful petition for their release. The women were acquitted of indecency charges at a trial the following month.
