At least 20 people killed after tourist bus falls from cliff in Turkey

At least 20 people have died after a tourist bus fell from a cliff near the seaside resort of Marmaris in Turkey.

Turkish authorities say at least 20 people have died and 11 others are in a critical condition after a tour bus tipped over on Saturday.

Local media have reported that no foreign tourists were on board, with the victims believed to be mainly women and children.

The governor of Mugla province, Amir Cicek, said the bus crashed at a road bend as it was travelling from the coastal province of Izmir to the Marmaris tourist destination.

The vehicle was reportedly heading towards Marmaris for a mother's day event on Sunday.
