Joe Biden’s dog to be ‘indogurated’ ahead of White House move

Joe Biden’s dog will be given his own virtual inauguration ceremony as he prepares to move into the White House.
Mr Biden and his wife Jill adopted Major - a German Shepherd who will become the first shelter dog in the US Presidential home - in 2018.
The “indogauration” will take place on Sunday, three days before Mr Biden is sworn in on January 20.
It will be hosted by the Delaware Humane Association (DHA), the animal shelter that Major was adopted from, and pet insurance company Pumpkin Petcare.
“Let's celebrate the first-ever shelter pup to become first dog and raise money to help more shelter animals like Major live the American Dream.
The online ceremony will be hosted by Jill Martin from the Today Show but viewers will need to donate at least $10 to join the event, with all proceeds going to the DHA.
The Bidens have another German shepherd, Champ, as well as a cat.
