Kylie Minogue nervous about new album release

Pint-sized Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue has announced the name for her new album will be Kiss Me Once.

This is set to be Minogue’s 12th studio album and her first since she released Aphrodite over three years ago.

Commenting on the build-up to the album, which will see the first single Into The Blue released on March 9, she said "I always get nervous. I've invested a lot in this album, pretty much all of last year.”

As well as announcing the name, Minogue revealed the artwork for the record, which shows the songstress wearing vibrant red lipstick while she poses behind a steamy glass window.

The album is Minogue’s first offering since joining rapper and entrepreneur Jay Z’s Roc Nation record label last year and promises to mark a change in style for the singer.

"I genuinely can't wait for people to hear it. I want to deliver the gift and move to the next phase with it."

Minogue is currently judging alongside Welsh singing Tom Jones, Black Eyed Peas rapper Will.I.Am and Kaiser Chief frontman Ricky Wilson on the third series of BBC singing competition The Voice.
