News | UKEasyJet strike: Pilots vote for industrial action in dispute over tirednessTiredness row: Pilots have voted overwhelmingly to strikePhil Nobel/ReutersTom Powell21 September 2016EasyJet pilots have voted to go on strike in a dispute over pilots being too tired to fly.However, their union, the British Airline Pilots' Association (BALPA) is still hoping to resolve the row with talks planned for the coming days.General Secretary Brian Strutton said 96 per cent of members at the airline voted for some form of industrial action following the dispute over fatigue, after a turnout of 88 per cent.He said: "Balpa has now received a last-minute offer from EasyJet to resolve the dispute and we will consider this carefully in meetings tomorrow before taking any further decisions.
