Three major Tube lines are facing serious disruption this weekend in London.

The Piccadilly, District, and Metropolitan lines will all face partial closures on what is set to be a jam-packed weekend for the capital.

Thousands of Londoners will be travelling to watch England on the big screen or to SW19 for Wimbledon, while Hyde Park will be transformed for the final weekend of the British Summer Time festival.

The record heatwave is also taking its toll on London’s transport network, as operators look to impose speed restrictions caused by high track temperatures.

Other services might not run at all or will face severe delays, so it is worth checking before you travel.
