Commuters left in no doubt where train was going after bizarre display screen error at King's Cross

Bewildered rail passengers en route to Cambridge were informed their train via Cambridge would be calling at Cambridge before it reached Cambridge.

Commuters were left scratching their heads at King's Cross main line station on Wednesday after spotting the destination billed on display boards no fewer than four times.

The screens also informed passengers that the delayed 18.14 Great Northern service would depart the London station nearly half an hour late, at 18.39.

A passenger snapped a picture of the sign, and posted it on Twitter with the amusing caption "where's the train going?", in a tweet that has been shared more than a hundred times.
