Hair apparent: Jeremy Corbyn's son smooths his father's wayward locks

Jeremy Corbyn had a bad hair day as he arrived for a press conference at King’s Cross.

Labour’s heir apparent suffered a high-level rebellion as a breeze lifted his greying locks.

Fortunately son Seb Corbyn, who is a key figure on his father’s leadership team, was on hand to smooth the flyaway thatch into a more prime ministerial mould before a speech on plans to renationalise the railways.

He shrugged off a claim by rival Andy Burnham that he did not want to be premier, saying: “Why would I be here, why would our campaign be here, if we didn’t want to win?”
