A fire has broken out at a golf club in north London, with six fire crews and 60 firefighters rushing to the scene.
The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service was called to West Essex Golf Club near Waltham Abbey at around 2:40pm on Monday.
An entire building on the grounds of the historic club was alight.
The fire service said everyone was accounted for and that nobody was injured.
A spokesperson for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to a fire at a golf club in Waltham Abbey this afternoon (Monday 5 January).
"When the first fire crews arrived they confirmed everyone was accounted for and no one was injured. They requested additional fire engines to support.
"The building, which measured approximately 25m x 15m, has two storeys. The fire is affecting the whole building. Around 60 firefighters are at the scene, working hard to tackle the fire.
"Essex firefighters are being supported by nearby fire crews from London Fire Brigade and Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service."
The West Essex Golf Club was founded in 1900 by Scottish golfer James Braid.
The 125-year old course is roughly 15 miles northeast of Central London and the area includes a section of Epping Forest.
The club is an 18-hole championship course with practice areas, a professional shop and clubhouse.
