Eda Hardy, 40, an accountant from Buckinghamshire, said: “My 23-year-old niece and nephew were protesting against the government in Ankara and were bombed with tear gas and pepper gas. They were peacefully protesting and police vehicles drove through the crowd. If the situation does not change for the better in the next couple of days I will go out and fight beside them.”
