Fans have been warned to arrive early when Tottenham host West Ham this afternoon, after security was stepped up in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
A statement on the club's website said: "In light of recent events in Paris, the Club met on Wednesday morning with the Security Advisory Group and representatives from all emergency services to audit our current security operation.
"In addition to the continued use of CCTV and search dog teams, we shall now be increasing the number and frequency of person and bag searches."
Supporters travelling to White Hart Lane have been asked to arrive well ahead of the 4pm kick off, and have been warned they will need to allocate sufficient time to clear security, which will not be reduced if queues form.
In order to speed up security checks, fans have been advised to avoid bringing bags into the stadium.
Those attending the match have also been asked to be extra vigilant and alert staff to anything unusual.
