A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after crashing into a wall in west London.
The 29-year-old man was driving a Kawasaki bike when it crashed in Hanwell at about 3.10pm on Sunday.
He sustained head injuries and is now in a critical condition in hospital. His family have been informed.
Police are asking for witnesses to get in touch. The accident happened in Greenford Avenue near the junction with Studland Road.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “At this early stage it is not thought any other vehicle was involved, but officers retain an open mind and are appealing for anyone who was in the area that may has seen the rider on his journey before the collision to contact them.
“The motorbike was a green and white Kawasaki ZX400 and was travelling south on Greenford Avenue towards Uxbridge Road.”
