Minicab tries to drive off with clamp on wheel

A cab driver attempted to move off with his wheel in a clamp after parking in a restricted bay outside a luxury west London hotel.

The motorist got himself into an embarrassing situation when he ignored the clamp on his front wheel and tried to head off outside the Park Tower hotel in Knightsbridge.

But as he struggled to move the vehicle more than a few feet, a man walked up to his window and alerted him to the clamp.
