Now the port and developer are seeking to enforce that ruling with a further High Court order to “dispose of or destroy” the vessels and artwork. Court enforcers have blocked Mr Couper, his wife Magdalena, 38, and daughter Massimiliana, seven, from their home.
Mr Couper, 57, said his daughter has been “crying for days”.
Dame Judi said the collection would not survive if it had to be moved.
A spokesman for the PLA said it had offered alternative moorings for some of the boats, adding: “Despite many options being considered, Mr Couper has declined all proposals.”
