John Bryant, a consultant with The Fox Project charity, said a cull would be “pointless” adding animals from other parts of the park would continue to use the deer enclosure.
He said: “There would be new families in the area within three days, so it’s pointless.
"I’m completely baffled. I don’t understand why they are doing this.”
London is thought to be home to more than 10,000 foxes, and the animals are not thought to have been culled by councils since the 1980s.
