Sargent travels the world to meet her clients and often spends her time in hotel rooms doing fittings.
She added: “This workshop and showroom is designed to feel like a luxury hotel suite — a place where my clients can come to relax.”
Sargent now has more than 100 clients and turnover in the past year rose by more than 40 per cent. Her fan base is growing.
She said: “The number of women I tailor for has grown also, interestingly enough, though my client base is predominantly men.” Her bespoke two-piece suits cost more than £4,000.
Savile Row has been known for its tailors since the early 19th century, but successful tailors from the street have now branched out into neighbouring Mayfair locations including Sackville Street, Clifford Street and Old Burlington Street.
