Elderly woman hit by bus in Euston suffers 'life changing' injuries

An elderly woman has been left with "life-changing" injuries after she was hit by a bus in Euston today.

The woman was rushed to hospital following the crash near to Euston Square Tube station at 12.45pm today.

Scotland Yard said they were called to the collision between a double decker bus and a pedestrian at the junction between Euston Road and Gower Street.

Gower Street was closed between Euston Road and Torrington Place while emergency services dealt with the crash and other bus routes were being diverted.
