He is described as a black man, 6ft tall, of a gaunt appearance and has a short grey moustache. He also wears glasses.
At the time of his disappearance he wore a leather jacket, short-sleeved shirt, jeans and a distinctive cream coloured straw hat.
DI Ridley said: “If you see Mr Baptiste, I would urge you to approach him and call an ambulance so that he can be provided with the medical assistance he requires.
“He has previously been found wandering dangerously on a road, such was his confusion, so I cannot stress enough how important it is to locate and safely return him home".
