“This is my specialist subject," he said.
"I have been running my business, London From the Rooftops, for 10 years but have also been doing a side project called Lunar London for the past three years.

"It is a work-in-progress and I have gradually begun to really understand the movements of the moon and sun and learnt how to capture them rising in the best way.
“I just wanted to create something that makes people go ‘wow – I am not sure if I believe that is real’ because it looks so unbelievable.”

This lunar spectacle marked the last appearance of the Supermoon - when the moon is at its closest point to Earth - this year.
The last one, which appeared in November, and was the biggest in nearly 70 years.
It was the first time since just after the Second World War a full moon had come so close to Earth.
