Imperial College has established itself as London's leading university, according to the latest league tables.
Two of the capital's universities made it into the top 10 in this year's , with University College London (UCL) dropping out.
Imperial rose to fifth place, just ahead of previous fronrunner the London School of Economics (LSE).
Cambridge pipped Oxford for first place for the fourth year in a row as the LSE was dumped out of the top three by St Andrew's.
Imperial College was London's top scorer, excelling on spend per student and career prospects after six months of graduating.
Dropping from third to seventh, the LSE saw its scores for spending per student and career prospects fall.
UCL dropped out of the top 10 altogether, falling from fifth to 11th - with value added and career prospect scores falling.
