Man charged with murder of 'loving family man' Kyrone Moodie shot dead in Clapham

Two more men have been charged in connection with the killing of “loving family man” Kyrone Moodie in south London.

The 27-year-old died in hospital a day after he was shot in New Park Road in Clapham just before 9pm on September 8 last year.

And on Thursday Moureik Ebanks, 20, of Saints Close, Lambeth, was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

Rushaune Davis, 31, of Brixton Road, Lambeth, was charged with perverting the course of justice.

Both men remain in custody and were due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, 24 April.

Following his death Mr Moodie’s family called him a “loving family man” and described how “he was genuine and determined”.

In a statement, they added: “He helped everyone he could. Kyrone was just a humble, funny and God-worshiping family-oriented man.”

Mr Moodie’s family continue to receive support and updates from specialist officers.
