Man in ‘serious condition’ after Maidstone stabbing

A man is in serious condition after he was stabbed in Maidstone, Kent.

Police were called to Lower Stone Street, at 4am on Saturday, following reports of a disturbance and found a man with stab injuries. The victim was airlifted to a London hospital.

According to Kent 999, a “large group of people” were involved in the incident.

Police are investigating but no arrests have been made.

The road remained sealed off on Saturday morning while inquiries continue.
