Nowadays I take better care of myself than I used to. A happy body equates to a happy, well-functioning mind, and a better mood. I am definitely more conscious of the things I am putting into my body, opting for organic, seasonal and free-range food whenever I can. I always tell my clients that, for their hair, overall wellness is just as important as the products they are using. Hair is such a sensitive barometer for general health. As it’s not important to survival, at least physiologically speaking, its cycles of growth are usually the first part of us to be impacted when something is amiss internally. Stress management, being mindful of nutrition, and maintaining systemic homeostasis are essential.
