As dramatically beautiful in summer as in winter, the rolling greenery and jagged peaks of the Dolomites will be home to a new hotel on July 3.
The Adler Mountain Lodge in Italy’s northernmost region, the South Tyrol, will comprise a central lodge made from sustainable materials, with 18 suites decked out in chalet chic — wooden floors and cowhide rugs, open fireplace and spacious sun terrace. The Lodge also offers a restaurant, spa and infinity pool. Surrounding the lodge, 12 smaller chalets based on traditional Tyrolean huts made from local spruce wood will have balconies, saunas and fireplaces in sitting rooms.
Food will focus on regional specialities mixing Alpine and Italian flavours, such as strudel or ravioli filled with spinach and cheese. Activities include guided skiing, hiking, mountain biking and yoga.
