As a result, the demand for the bag has grown 50% year-over-year, driving up the average sales price by 65% according to The RealReal’s 2021 Reasale Report. Similarly, Louis Vuitton’s monogram Pochette bag has generated over one million views on TikTok, and translated to a 47% year-on-year rise in sales of the shoulder bag.
