The Crush: Kate Moss and Noel Gallagher

Wow, Crush learned so much about Kate Moss and Noel Gallagher from Celebrity Gogglebox last Friday, we are confident we could slip right in between them on the sofa (where Naomi Campbell was) and have a right laff lambasting the stars of Saturday night TV. We’d be way better company than the übermodel, for whom ‘a cosy night in’ appeared to be a monumental struggle.

Not since Steph and Dom watched Conchita win Eurovision has a Goggleboxer looked so bemused; while Kate and Noel bantered like an old married couple, Naomi played gooseberry, speaking only to assert, gnomically, that The X Factor’s Chloe-Jasmine is ‘Downton Abbey’. Er, whatever, hun, pass the crisps. (She was, in fact, also a contestant on Campbell’s TV show The Face.)

It was easy to picture our new favourite celebrity friends Kate and Noel lolling around each other’s houses in onesies of a Saturday night, eating Pot Noodles and dancing to Strictly to embarrass their daughters. Mossy’s years of not giving interviews were brilliantly quashed the moment she threw her arms in the air and exclaimed of Mark Wright’s Strictly performance, ‘He’s so Clark Kent! Oh my God did you see that?’ To which Noel deadpans: ‘We’ve done this in Mustique, haven’t we? We did it at Jagger’s house.’

The pair are so into crap telly and so obviously happy to be curled up on a sofa with a bag of Monster Munch and a beer, Gogglebox has done more for their image than any PR campaign ever did. Naomi may be the one with her own show, but it’s as clear as HD who the true TV talent is.
