Plays Justine, head girl and lust object of vengeful spirit Darren Mullet (played by Calvin Dean).
Lives In Crouch End with a director friend. Tuppence, 22, moved there for the 'nice community of North London artists'.
Previous roles An anthropology student in US drama Bones; after murdering her lecturer, Tuppence got her comeuppance at the hands of Buffy's David Boreanaz. She has also played a mute in Skeletons opposite Jason Isaacs, out next year: 'He's a really nice guy, that Lucius Malfoy.'
Background Her father works for an investment company and her mother is a hairdresser. 'Until I came to London I never had to pay for a haircut. I was always cast as the boy in school plays at Bristol Grammar because I was skinny and I had short hair.' Naturally, she was a perfect fit for crossdressing Viola in Twelfth Night. After A levels in art, English and history, she joined Arts Ed drama school in Chiswick.
Shower song After singing in a doo-wop band at school, she can't get Sammy Davis Jr's 'Hey There' out of her head.
Dream date 'Skinny-dipping with River Phoenix in a hot spring in Bath.'
Idols Floyd Mayweather Jr. 'He's the best boxer ever. Pound for pound he's the best all-round fighter. An undefeated champion.' On her days off she watches amateur bouts in Tufnell Park.
Brush with death 'I died of shame when I was made to body-pop in front of the entire drama class. I was terrible.'

Plays Sophie, sidekick to ringleader Tasha (played by April Pearson). 'I'm a slutty bimbo with a mean streak.'
Lives Georgia, 22, moved to Soho but after ten 'full-on months with no sleep', she opted for a flat above a café in Notting Hill.
Previous roles Something of a BBC period drama princess, she's had meaty parts in Jane Eyre, Little Dorrit and Philip Pullman's Victorian thriller The Shadow of the North.

She then played Lady Teazle in The Duchess. 'My story didn't really make sense. It was meant to be a parody of everything Keira and Ralph were going through, but they shaved most of our stuff out,' she laughs. She was also the villainous head girl in Wild Child, her first film with Alex Pettyfer.
Background Her father Jonathan Hyde played the ship's cowardly owner in Titanic and her mother is an opera singer. 'I'm a country bumpkin at heart but fortunately I've lost the twang.' After leaving school in Devon, she fell into acting.

Dream date 'With James Franco, at a drive-in cinema, in a Buick, watching movie after movie.'

Plays Tasha, queen bee and girlfriend of Bradley (Alex Pettyfer). 'I'm a complete bitch with an entourage of bitches.'
Lives In Bristol with her parents. Her boyfriend plays professional rugby for Bristol and when she comes to London she couchsurfs with the rest of the Skins cast.
Previous roles Michelle (Nicholas Hoult's on-off girlfriend) in Skins, and Jemma in Suspension at the Bristol Old Vic Studio - a dark comedy about a daughter making amends with her estranged father. 'I don't want to pigeon-hole myself this early on. I enjoy every genre.'
Background After getting the acting bug at the Bristol Old Vic theatre club, April, 20, left Colston's Girls' School two years ago to pursue acting full-time.
Shower song 'Single Ladies' by Beyoncé. 'Me and my girlfriends get up and dance to it in the club, but it'll probably be something else next week. I'm very fickle.'

Brush with death 'I nearly died of embarrassment when I turned up at my boyfriend's dad's wedding and not one, but two, people were wearing the same dress as me.'
On Dev Patel her Skins co-star: 'It's absolutely crazy. He is so genuine, everyone loves him and he did such a brilliant job in Slumdog Millionaire. I remember him coming in with the script saying, "I've got to do an Indian accent, what am I going to do?" No one really thought he was going to come to much. I'm so proud of him.'

Previous roles Josh, a sparky schoolboy with an eye for older women, in Grange Hill. He's just back from Tunisia where he filmed a docudrama, playing a Kuwaiti drug dealer. 'Lots of nasty things happen to him while he's in prison; he eventually manages to escape into the desert.'
Background His father sells soft drinks and catering equipment: 'If anyone needs supplies, get in touch.' Dimitri, 21, divided his time between high school in Wembley and Grange Hill, where on-set tutors taught him algebra between takes.
Shower song 'Too many! I could get through several albums while showering.'
Dream date 'Jean Seberg: ideally we would explore a new planet together, then perhaps live there for a few years. Nothing too intense.'

Lives Alex, 19, shuttles between the family home in Windsor and the Soho Hotel in his Mini, listening to Kings of Leon.
Previous roles Alex Ryder in Anthony Horowitz's big-screen adaptation of Stormbreaker, and the stud in last year's Wild Child opposite Emma Roberts, niece of Julia, with whom he shared an off-screen romance - and has the tattoo to prove it.
Background His parents divorced when he was young. His father is an actor, his mother is in property and his younger half-brother James is an England tennis player. Tweeny modelling campaigns for Gap and Tommy Hilfiger, and a lead in ITV's Tom Brown's Schooldays opposite Stephen Fry, meant little time for swotting and Alex left Shiplake boarding school after failing his GCSEs.

Previous roles 'Lots of people who kill themselves or get hurt. I've played a guy with mental health problems who got blown up, a half-mouse half-human (who also got killed)... I must have that look about me. My most normal role was a servant. '
Background Calvin, 24, was born in Cornwall. His mother Lorraine is a teaching assistant and a nanny, and father Graham is a lighthouse keeper. 'No, really he is!' Calvin used to get the ferry each morning to Fowey Community College.
Shower song 'I'm not big on shower singing. Sometimes I find myself humming... normally songs I make up myself (that probably explains why I get the weird roles).'
Dream date 'I think it would be a laugh to take Sonia [the Eighties singing sensation] to Cornwall's number one theme park, Flambards, and eat a pasty, looking out to sea.'

Brush with death 'Recently I noticed a huge poster for Tormented on the opposite side of the street and decided to walk into the road. For a split second I forgot who I was, where I was, and thought I was dreaming, until I saw a bus about a metre away and realised I was definitely not in a dream. Luckily I'm still here to tell the tale.'

Plays Helena, Justine's bookish best friend before she is accepted into Tasha's gang. Lives In London.
Previous roles An impressive CV. Under the direction of Sofia Coppola, she played Princesse de Lamballe in Marie Antoinette (the Queen's best friend) and Hidalla, a schoolgirl dancer in an Italian period film starring Jacqueline Bisset. She has also had supporting roles in Spooks, Miss Marple, Rosemary and Thyme and Poliakoff's The Lost Prince.
Background A Londoner born and bred, Mary, 24, is the daughter of Diana Quick and Bill Nighy. She was educated at City of London and Westminster.

Dream date 'Brigid McConville, from The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood. We would have gone to the G20 wives' dinner. That way we could have met inspirational women, eaten well, and in the process told them more about what we could do to prevent the lives of over half a million mothers being lost each year during pregnancy and birth.'

Lives In her own flat in Bristol but is planning a move to London.
Previous roles Her first role was a lead in the first two series of Skins, playing Jal. She also appeared in two episodes of the BBC drama Holby City and in the ITV drama Kingdom.
Background Her mother is an aromatherapy and reflexology lecturer, and her father works in property. Larissa, 20, has 11 brothers and sisters, ranging from one to 23 years old. She went to Kingswood Technology School in Bristol.
Shower song 'I don't think I sing in the shower. I normally have the radio on, so I guess if I do I'm singing along to whatever song is playing.'
Dream date 'It would have to be Jay-Z and he would take me to a boxing match.'
