The best marble-inspired interiors buys for spring

Be it hand-carved from an Italian quarry or a £10 printed bowl, the capital is going mad for marble. London Fashion Week label Shrimps showcased its recent collection on a pink-marbled runway, while decorating company Graham & Brown has designed a gold and charcoal marbled wallpaper to celebrate its 70th anniversary. Elsewhere, online companies such as Made.com offer marble pieces at more affordable prices, while at the other end of the spectrum, designers Tom Dixon and Lee Broom have incorporated it into some show-stopping light fixtures this season.

Matthew Williamson has joined forces with sofa maker Duresta to launch his first bespoke furniture collection. This 1950s-style three- seater is a real statement piece.
