Team ES took to the heart of Soho to get the word on the street out to the masses

Come on, we said, tell us anything. Anything? you asked. Anything, we replied. Well, as long as it’s not libellous, obscene or flagrantly self-promotional. And you obliged — in your legions.

For two days last week, ES Magazine took a stall at Soho’s Berwick Street Market and asked you to get it off your chests: to send a message to Boris Johnson, David Cameron or Ed Miliband, to beseech your noisy neighbours to shut up, to propose to your girlfriend or boyfriend, or broadcast your Christmas wishlist. We handed out blackboards and chalk, took photographs and doled out enough mince pies and chocolate brownies to feed an army; and we also shook our buckets for the Evening Standard’s fund for the Dispossessed.

ES Magazine would like to thank TFH Gazebos (http://www.tfhgazebos.co.uk/ ), Lallapolosa Baking Company, Daylesford Farm, Crayola, and Peter from Westminster Council for all their help.
