Why marble is an interiors trend to watch in 2015

Is marble making it's comeback? The timeless, rather expensive rock type – think of the stunning white Taj Mahal – made quite an impression at last year’s London Design Festival, but it looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of the elegant material in 2015.

Working with a neutral colour palette, white marble can make small rooms appear more open. It can even be used to freshen up your home over spring and summer as it will add light to dark, confined spaces.

Though marble can be grand and austere, if chosen wisely and used in small doses, the gleaming stone can add a classic touch to any décor. Thinking subtle and merging modern materials to avoid overwhelming the eye.
