These brothers make chic architectural sculptures of iconic London landmarks

Two brothers from East Sussex have captured some of London’s most famous landmarks in mini, sculptural form.

Robert and Gavin Paisley, who founded their company Chisel & Mouse since 2011, have an ever expanding collection of models inspired by the capital that includes Battersea Power Station, Buckingham Palace and The Hoover Building.

Their mission is to ‘bring great architecture into your living room’.

The sculptures are made of plaster which lends them a good weight and a smooth, cool feel – with details such as window frames etched in metal. The pair use a combination of traditional sculpting techniques, moulding, computer-aided design and 3D printing to achieve their results.

But it’s not just iconic London buildings that the duo replicate – The Guggenheim and Hollywood Bowl have also been sculpted by them, with bestsellers’ including Bauhaus Dessau (£150) and the Glasgow School of Art (£195). You can also order bespoke sculptures from Chisel & Mouse.
