The UK’s folding bike-maker has created a slick new version of its classic Brompton bike, using black extremities instead of silver.
This sleek new bicycle has been designed with the street-smart urban cyclist in mind and is inspired by night time in the city.
The Brentford-based company has taken a stylish approach with its latest range with striking mainframe colour options of berry crush, lime green, lagoon blue and slick black or white.

Speaking of the new bike, Brompton boss Will Butler-Adams OBE said: “I’m lucky that my job enables me to travel to many cities around the world, most recently Bangkok for the opening of our 8th Brompton Junction.
“One of my favourite things to do is to cycle through cities at night, the roads are often quieter and you see a different side to city life, lit up against the backdrop of the dark sky. City life at night was the inspiration behind the Black Edition, we were keen to try a sleek matt black Brompton mixed with pops of bright colour, as well as the full black effect.”
Made in Brompton’s West London factory, the special edition bike is available in models S, M and H types, with speed gear choices of 2 and 6.
The designers and makers have created 5,000 of these new models, which will no doubt be snapped up quickly from stores – be sure to get yours soon.
