Is there such a thing as a chic beach towel?

I have a curious soft spot for outrageously bad-taste beach towels. No amount of animal print, excessive colour and pattern or (ideally) gaudy gold emblems could deter me from proudly showcasing it on any beach-like surface that will have me. These towels are often a little pricey, though, so opt for something like this Ombré one from John Lewis. The colours are excellent and, despite the lack of flamboyance, I’d still happily lie on it.
