Is it seriously fashionable to wear socks with sandals now? How can I get the look without looking like an American tourist?
Anyone remember the NERD In Search Of… album cover? That’s probably the last time socks and sandals looked good on an American man (sorry). But basically, yes, it’s nothing to be ashamed of or apprehensive about. The trick is to get your sock density right (there’s no excuse for worn socks or ones with holes) and either match the sandal colour or your outfit to the socks or go mishmash à la Prada.
