I want to say yes. I want to not be swayed by the fact that half the shoe is made from straw — is it straw? Or grass? Or rope? It’s this ‘material’ that puts me off. Of course, this would be a silly reason to hate footwear, so I will just advise you to remember that this is London, not Bali, so at least stick to a well-lined pair that are hardy enough not to disintegrate when it starts to rain (which it will), like these by Christian Louboutin.
