Sienna Miller: ‘I left New York for London for my little baby — and to escape Donald Trump’
“I'm loving living back in London,” said Sienna Miller, and her skin gleamed in the penthouse of The Edition Hotel, off Oxford Street, on Tuesday morning.
The actress, 42, was launching her new fashion design venture with M&S, which comprises of a 33-piece summer fashion collection that plays into the boho-chic summer wardrobe she has been known for since the noughties. “I'm happy boho is back. I just can't believe it's now vintage – that makes me feel old,” she said.
Miller, who recently gave birth to her second child, the first with boyfriend Oli Green, 27, has recently moved back to the UK after a stint in the States. “I was living in New York for seven years until last summer. It was time to come home — [London] was always home,” she said.

Settled back in London, Miller, whose latest acting role is in Kevin Costner’s epic Horizon: An American Saga, is raising her young family. Her daughter Marlowe, 11, joined her and Green for the premiere at Cannes Film Festival last month.

“I’ve raised a mini Anna Wintour. My 11 year old is so judgmental of what I wear. She gives me a sort of up and down and an eyebrow,” Miller said. “She's got the most incredible aesthetic, and she's very, very clear on what she likes and doesn't like. I'd love to be able to share more style tips, but actually I'm getting it from her.”
As for her other style idols, “I think Zendaya is the most exquisite thing in the world,” Miller swooned. “But she's like a coat hanger, so she looks really amazing in everything. I also love Emma Corrin, people who are pushing it. Then there are timeless, elegant people like Alexa Chung and Jane Birkin.”
The naked dress trend sweeping red carpets initially “shocked” her, Miller continued. “Now I'm like, do you know what, why not?” She followed quickly with a self-deprecating: “I'd have some sort of nude support system, though.”

And the room laughed — in total disagreement.
