I've got fat calves - what shoes are flattering?
Chunky calves, though a sure sign of excellent hiking skills, can be cumbersome. I’ve seen strong characters broken by not being able to fit into a measly ankle boot, and witnessed full-on thigh-high boot battles (not as exciting as it sounds, boys) many a time. The best way to dress a rotund calf is not to constrict it. These high pumps elongate the leg and will smarten any outfit in the process. Worth investing in even if your calves are not causing you unnecessary trauma.
