My best friend has a studio called Popfit in east London, which is dance aerobics. I also love hot yoga: it’s so nice to really sweat and then come out into the cool air. It’s better here than in LA.
Which shops do you rely on?
I’m probably in Waitrose the most. I also love the Daunt bookstore on Marylebone High Street. This one guy in there, Chris, has given me the most amazing recommendations and I love every book he’s told me to read. Hi Chris!

What makes someone a Londoner?
When you’re really comfortable even in the middle of winter. Going to the pub at 3pm when it’s pitch black and still having a sense of humour is quite a feat. I now know why the English are seen as as cynical but funny: you have to be to get through the weather here!
Favourite London pub?
I love The Holly Bush in Hampstead, it’s so nice and quiet.
Best thing a London cabbie has ever said to you?
Alright, darlin’!
What would you do if you were Mayor for the day?
I’d have a Downton Abbey day, with everyone re-enacting the time period. Old cars would be on the streets, and everyone would have to dress up properly. I’d love that.

Who do you call to have fun?
Either Stella [McCartney] or my friend Liv [Tyler]. Sadly, we don’t party any more — we have like 100 kids so we just hang out and laugh.

What are you up to at the moment for work?
I just finished shooting Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, and then I’m in London at the moment for my Happy x Nature line. I want to create more companies that source responsibly — everything is made from 50 per cent recycled materials, and it’s amazing that my brand is stocked at Selfridges now.
Happy X Nature is exclusively at The Denim Studio in Selfridges, W1. Prices from £60
