A warm bacon sandwich and a cup of tea at New Covent Garden Flower Market (below) early in the morning on my own. Heaven!
Favourite pub?
The Nags Head on Kinnerton Street. It is the polar opposite of a trendy restaurant, which is why I like it and Kevin the landlord kicks you out if you take a phone call.
Where would you most like to be buried?
The life drawing room (above) at the Royal Academy — if allowed.

Best thing a cabbie has ever said to you?
‘Welcome home, love. Let me help you with that bag.’
Which hotels do you stay at in London?
I was lucky enough to stay in the Antony Gormley room at The Beaumont hotel (above) just before it opened. It is an experience not to be missed.
What makes someone a Londoner?
A deep sense of irony.
What are you up to at the moment for work?
Flat out in the studio working on AW19, our new ‘Anya Smells’ candle collection (left) and we are just about to launch ‘Pimp Your Phone’, which allows you to customise your handset.

If you could buy any London building and live there, which would it be?
Petersham House. Watch out Bogliones!
Where do you go to let you hair down?
I once spent the night in the bed department of Peter Jones.
Biggest extravagance?
Massages. I met Liz (not giving you her number, sorry Liz!) years ago, who visits once a week and gives the best deep therapeutic massage I have ever had. We listen to Gregorio Allegri’s Miserere on full volume in the near darkness and it is a complete reboot after a long week.
